As a young girl from Beirut, Lebanon, Cindy found refuge in the world of art which shielded her from the horrors of war-torn Lebanon. Whether it be the awe-inspiring art of Jacques Louis-David or the obscurity of Frida Kahlo, Cindy drew inspiration from the artists before her. Cindy began exploring her talents in her early years by painting or crafting wood sculptures. She later honed her skills by dabbling in pointillism and pastels. Cindy was a sought after portraitist by her early twenties. Her most recent work explores the abstract mind, modern world and the freedom that comes with letting go of normalcy. Whether it be a pill bottles at the last supper or a drab phone call, Cindy's paintings burst with color, life and just a hint of lunacy.
